Sylvester Stallone Collection: Cobra/ Driven/ Demolition Man

Cobra

Like Sylvester Stallone's Rocky and Rambo, the hero of Cobra is another original: Lt. Marlon Cobretti, a one-man assault f-rce whose laser-mount submachine gun and pearl handled Colt .45 spit pure crimestopping venom.

Rambo: First Blood Part II director rejoins Stallone for this thriller pitting Cobretti against a merciless serial killer. The trail leads to not one murderer but to an army of psychos bent on slashing their way to a "New Order"- and killing the inadvertent witness to their latest blood spree. Fortunately, Cobra is her protector. And full throttle screen excitement doesn't get any better.

Driven

The on-track excitement and off-track romantic pursuits of race-car drivers form the revved-up heart of Driven, starring and written by Sylvester Stallone.

He plays a talented veteran driver who confronts the lost potential of his past when called out of retirement to mentor a talented but unfocused rookie contender (Kip Pardue), whose destructive behavior pursuing the girlfriend (Estella Warren) of his primary racing rival (Til Schweiger). Stallone's Cliffhanger collaborator Renny Harlin directs, shooting many scenes at CART races around the world using state-of-the-art technology to give viewers a strapped-in simulation of the driver's point of view. Start your engines!

Demolition Man

In 2032 archcriminal Simon Phoenix (Snipes) awakens from a 35-year deep freeze in CryoPrison to find a serene, nonviolent Los Angeles ready for the taking. Unable to deal with Phoenix's brutal 1990's style, officials seek an old-fashioned cop to fight old-fashioned crime. They revive Sgt. John Spartan (Stallone), unjustly serving a CryoPrison sentence because of his last encounter with Pheonix.
