A drug deal gone bad leaves Jasmine's husband dead. Sad and lonely she prays for the capture of his killer. In search of a better life for her son, she decides to leave Detroit behind and head for her hometown of Tampa. She finds a job in Tampa but it doesn't quite pay the bills, so she takes on an evening gig at a gentlemen's club. Feeling torn by her religious convictions and her "job duties", she turns to church and prays for God's forgiveness.
Now Jasmine is falling for a respectful and caring man, but will she be able to tell him about her past...or her job as a dancer? Would he be able to understand? As great as he is, she knows nothing of his past... is he quite so perfect or does he have his own secrets?
