Magic Sword, The / Sword Of Lancelot

The Magic Sword

Sir George (Gary Lockwood) is a young knight who has long admired beautiful Princess Helene (Anne Helm) from afar but hasn't had the courage to profess his love for her. When the princess is suddenly kidnapped by the evil sorcerer Lodac (Basil Rathbone), the valiant knight sees it as a golden opportunity to win her affections and prove his undying love by rescuing her from Lodac's vile clutches. With the aid of a magic sword given to him by his sorceress stepmother Sybil (Estelle Winwood) and with the company of six other dutiful knights, Sir George sets off on his quest to save the virtuous princess. In order to free Helene, the knights must confront Lodac's seven deadly curses, and to make matters worse, Sir George's magic sword fails him at the moment he needs it most and he is f-rced to look within himself for his own kind of magic.

Sword Of Lancelot

Adapted from Thomas Mallory's More D'Arthur, Sword of Lancelot depicts the passionate secret romance that blossoms between a knight, Sir Lancelot (Cornel Wilde), and Lady (Jean Wallace). But when the authoritative King Arthur learns of their love affair, he is infuriated and consequently wages a deadly war.
