Life should go down this easy.

Hi Mom:

The trip is great! Well, okay, so it's not so great. I'd rather you heard it from me than strangers, or the authorities. the car broke down. Drew got a ride from his old high school gym teacher and stole his camper with his daughter still in it. Al got in a jam with his dad's gun, but don't worry, he doesn't know how to use it. Martin is kind of famous in these parts now. Tell Dad I'm quitting school and joining the band full time. Send money.

Love, Kurt

American Beer is a classic comedy about four guys who take a road trip westbound to the promised land of sunny California. Somewhere in the Dakota badlands however, their car breaks down, leaving them stranded in the middle of nowhere. When they decide to split up in search of help, each one of them has hilarious, dangerous, insightful, or particularly bizarre encounters with a variety of dimwitted, idiotic characters from the underside of America.
