**Disc 1

The Andy Griffith Show Vol. 2**

The small town of Mayberry, North Carolina was the setting of this highly successful homespun situation comedy. Sheriff Andy Taylor was a widower with a young son Opie. They lived with Andy's Aunt Bee, a combination housekeeper and foster mother for Opie. Andy's deputy was his cousin Barney Fife (Don Knotts), the most inept, hypertense deputy sheriff ever seen on television. The tone of the show was very gentle, giving Andy the opportunity to state and practice his understanding, philosophical outlook on life. Since there was practically no crime in Mayberry, the stories revolved mostly around the personal relationships of its citizens.

**Disc 2

The Beverly Hillbillies**

One of CBS' longest running situation comedies, The Clampetts received very special treatment in Milburn Drysdale's Commerce Bank when they deposited $25 million given to them by John Brewster of the OK Oil Company for mining rights to their land. Milburn Drysdale, concerned about their naiveté and ignorance of "big city ways", moved his bank's biggest depositors into the mansion next door to his own home, in hope of keeping an eye on them and helping them become more "civilized".
