From writer/director/star Shayne Pax, Peridot tells the story of Gabriel (played by Pax), a young male gigolo working on Skid Row in order to send money to his mother back home. On the streets, he forms the most unlikely friendship with Martha (Susan Moore Harmon), a much older woman and renowned author. Gorgeously directed, Peridot breaks down the barriers and labels in a deeply ageist culture, telling a story that exemplifies that love and friendship know no age, race, gender or label.
