In 2019, filmmaker Xiaorui and his team rediscover fascinating footage from a poetic gay romance that they had started filming ten years earlier. Feeling nostalgic and looking to finally complete the film, Xiaorui reunites his original cast and crew. Their efforts, however, are disrupted by the onset of COVID-19 in Wuhan, which sends the group into an unexpected and deeply challenging lockdown.
