In 1990s Cuba, where Fidel Castro has outlawed all rock music, a group of impoverished punk musicians dream of a life beyond oppression. Desperate for a way out, they seize on a shocking and dangerous escape - one that could grant them the freedom they crave, but at the ultimate cost.
