A group of bohemian intellectuals struggles to have an intelligent conversation about one of the worlds most emotional and controversial subjects: sex. Edgar (Dermot Mulroney, My Best Friends Wedding) believes that sex is a subject of vital importance, but almost no one discusses it with the significance it deserves. He gathers together a panel of his colleagues at the home of a wealthy tycoon (Nick Nolte, Cape Fear) and his weirdly intense spouse (Tuesday Weld, Once Upon a Time in America) for a night in which they will discuss their erotic lives without self-serving wit or exaggeration. Joining Edgar is a German artist, (Til Schweiger, Inglorious Basterds), an arrogant film director (Jeremy Davies, Saving Private Ryan), a self-obsessed painter (Alan Cumming, The Good Wife) and a student from England (Terrence Howard, Empire) who has caught the eye of a lovely French girl (Julie Delpy, Before Sunset) with whom Edgar has fallen in love. This one-of-a-kind comedy drama features a stellar ensemble cast which drives the story to the edge of civilized raunchiness.
