When Paul and Jenny let their housekeeper Agatha go, the disgruntled former employee gives a vintage doll named Robert to their son, Gene, as a parting gift. Soon after Agatha's departure, strange events begin plaguing the household and maniacal giggles echo throughout the house in the dead of the night.

Nobody believes Gene when he claims Robert is to blame for the disturbances, but eventually Paul and Jenny consider the possibility that a supernatural has taken over their home. It's not long before the horror escalates and they discover that it's not the house that's haunted... it's the doll.
