An Affair To Remember

Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr star in this poignant and humorous love story. Good-looking Nicky Ferrante (Grant) and breathtaking former nightclub singer Terry McKay (Kerr) meet on an ocean liner headed for New York and fall deeply in love. Although each is engaged to someone else, they agree to meet six months later at the top of the Empire State Building if they still feel the same way about each other. But a tragic accident prevents their rendezvous, and the lovers' future takes an emotional and uncertain turn.

Laura

A definitive film noir classic, Laura tells the shocking story of a Park Avenue society beauty murdered in her apartment, which brings Detective Mark McPherson (Dana Andrews) to New York's most elegant neighborhood. As he tries to get inside the head of the victim, Laura Hunt (Gene Tierney), he also questions the men in her life - the acerbic critic Waldo Lydecker (Clifton Webb) and playboy fiance Shelby Carpenter (Vincent Price). Lulled by her stunning portrait, fine liquor and classical music, McPherson doesn't know he's in for a heart-stopping shock with the sudden appearance of a woman who seems to be Laura herself. Steeped in suspense, heightened reality and witty sophistication, Laura leads to a shocking climax.

A Letter To Three Wives

Joseph L. Mankiewicz's timeless Best Picture Nominee was awarded two Oscars - for Best Directing and Best Screenplay. Ann Sothern, Linda Darnell and Jeanne Crain star in this witty drama as three women who are about to embark on a boat trip when they receive a letter from their friend Addie, who claims to have run off with one of their husbands. Since the letter doesn't say which man Addie has seduced, the women all spend the day reflecting on their relationships, wondering whether they'll find themselves married or single that night.

The Three Faces Of Eve

Joanna Woodward brought home a Best Actress Oscar for her unforgettable portrayal of a woman with multiple personality disorder. Woodward plays eve White, a troubled housewife who begins seeing a psychiatrist. Under , Eve's two additional personalities are revealed: a vamp and an independent sophisticate - but curing her will require a probe into her disturbing past.
