In the tradition of The Reaping and The Village, The Cursed is a supernatural thriller that draws on the rich and frightening folklore of the American south. Sheriff Jimmy Muldoon (Costas Mandylor Saw III, IV, V, VI, VII) and younger brother deputy Lloyd Muldoon (Louis Mandylor My Big Fat Greek Wedding), have a firm grasp on law and order until a handsome stranger, Denny White (Brad Thornton), comes to town. Animals are slaughtered...loved ones go missing. Only a blur is spotted at each location. The sheriff and Denny join to fight the killer, an evil demon manifested from the slave plantation days. "He that kills the demon, becomes the demon"....and the curse is passed from generation to generation.
