This spectacular Steve Reeves double feature showcases the screens most famous muscleman as two real life historical warriors. In The Giant Of Marathon (aka "The Battle of Marathon"), Reeves plays Philippides, an Olympic Champion who helps save Greece when the country is invaded by the Persian hordes. His glamorous co-stars are French sex-kitten Mylene Demongeot and Italian temptress Daniela Rocca. Jacques ("Curse of the Demon") Tourner directs with an uncredited assist by Mario ("Black Sunday") Bava, who also acted as cinematographer on the film.

The second feature is The Avenger (aka "War of the Trojans" and "The Last Glory of Troy"). In this sequel to "The Trojans Horse", Steve Reeves reprises his role as the Trojan hero Aneas. After escaping the fall of Troy, Aneas leads his people to the banks of the Tiber River to found a settlement which will eventually become Rome. But first Aneas must defeat the leader of a hostile tribe which already occupies the land. Once again Reeves has two beautiful leading ladies fighting for his attention...Carla Marlier and Liana Orfei. For the first time both The Giant Of Marathon and The Avenger are being presented in remastered 2.35 widescreen enhanced for 16x9.
