Dallas: The Complete Seasons 1 - 6

Season 1 & 2 (1978)

Dallas foreshadowed the Greed Decade of the 1980s. It also changed the TV landscape, inspiring a string of sprawling, multi storyline dramas. This 5-Disc set includes all 29 episodes of the hugely entertaining show's first and second season episodes and also gushes with extras. Patrick Duffy, Victoria Principal and more play Texas sons and daughters whose lives revolve around oil, family and power. And Larry Hagman portrays petroleum magnate J.R. Ewing, whose pursuit of, in no particular order, money and clout knows no limits. During the series' run, he was the man everyone loved to hate. As you'll discover, everyone still does.

Season 3 (1979)

Fortunes made and lost. Secrets kept and revealed. Backstabbing, scheming, and manipulation. You'll find everything that makes Dallas a glorious wallow in the lives of the rich and dysfunctional on this 5-Disc DVD set including all 25 Season 3 Episodes, plus Texas-sized Extras. Villain extraordinaire J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman) pokes a poisoned finger in every pie, stirring up trouble in the family and bringing Ewing Oil to the brink of financial ruin.

Season 4 (1980)

Who shot J.R? One of the men he cheated in business? One of the women he cheated in love? Or is the culprit closer to home: a member of the big, unhappy Ewing family who figured to reduce the weasel population of Texas by one? Season 4 solves the mystery. But there's still plenty of intrigue and emotional firestorms to come with a power struggle over Wing Oil, political scandal, two weddings, two-timing, a dead body in the swimming pool and more Dallas-style fun and games.

Season 5 (1981)

This year, tragedy visits Southfork. Jock Ewing - the tough, relentless founder of the vast Ewing Oil empire - dies in a helicopter crash. The family is devastated. But, after all, this is Dallas, so grief eventually gives way to maneuvering, scheming and dirty dealing over the future of the Ewing millions.

The fallout from Jock's death is just part of the drama in Season Five's 26 episodes. Because there's more, much more. Sue Ellen and J.R. divorce and fight over custody of their little son. Pam and Bobby open their hearts to an adorable baby with a past ties to Southfork. Cliff Barnes has J.R. facing financial ruin - but soon it's J.R. holding all the aces and Cliff holding the bag. Add murder, kidnapping and a couple of suicide attempts, and even the great state of Texas doesn't seem big enough to contain Dallas.

Season 6 (1982)

Season 6 starts with ice: J.R. gets the cold shoulder when the family votes him out as president of Ewing Oil. And it ends with fire: Southfork ablaze, with four Ewings trapped by roaring flames. In between, J.R. and Bobby bare-knuckle it out in their biggest fight yet over Ewing Oil, thanks to their father's will. It seems Jock just couldn't decide who should inherit, so he split the company in half and gave his boys one year to see who could make the biggest bucks - and win the whole shebang/ Plus Bobby and Pam split up, J.R. and Sue Ellen remarry and J.R. sees Cuba's jail system from the wrong side of the bars. Add a Texas whirlwind of lying, cheating and bed hopping and, as J.R. might say, "Darlin', this here is Dallas!"
