Leave No Man Behind

When the mission goes quickly and terribly wrong, the men find themselves outnumbered and literally fighting for their lives.

"Never Leave a Man Behind." This phrase drives the characters and the men who actually lived these events in the film BLACK HAWK DOWN. Courage, strength and the ability to push on through your fears are all characteristics of the men who are portrayed in this film. BLACK HAWK DOWN is a must see modern war film. Beautifully done study of war - 5 out of 5 (6/11/2003)
If you only plan to watch one war movie, this is the one. Everything about this movie is well done. The acting is superb with a first rate cast. The sounds of war are really brought to life and once this film picks up it stays suspenseful throughout. Unlike many war movies, no part in this movie feels over-dramitized, and it is certainly not a feel good movie. Virtually no special features, but I buy movies for the movie and this one is first rate.

An excellent movie all the way around. Video is good to excellent and so is the audio. DTS and DD are included so it sounds great no matter what. Kind of wussy supplements, there is supposed to be a special edition sometime this year

"Black Hawk Down" is a powerful and action-packed masterpiece of American filmmaking. Director Ridley Scott (Gladiator) has capture the fury and carnage of war with such stunning and realistic detail. The battle scenes are fierce and truely spectacular.
