Most of us have had lousy flying experiences. Maybe your got stuck sitting next to an obnoxious loudmouth with bad aftershave, perhaps during your flight to Los Angeles your luggage somehow makes it to China, or maybe your connection flight in Des Moines was cancelled and now, instead of spending Thanksgiving with your family and friends, you're spending it in a Holiday Inn, drunk in the hotel bar with some insurance salesman who hasn't bathed in a week and an chain-smoking waitress named Flo. Catch The Red Eye... - 3.5 out of 5 (1/16/2006)
Director Wes Craven, who has made a living in Hollywood making slasher flicks like Scream and A Nightmare On Elm Street tones things down for his first-ever entry into the thriller genre with Red Eye. And while I can't say it's a great film, I have to admit that I was never bored with it...as silly and preposterous as it got at times.
