Flip DVD half way through! - 2.5 out of 5 (10/15/2000)
The worst thing about this DVD is that you have to flip it over half way through the movie! This is an awesome movie, but who wants to do this every time you watch it? Buy the "Stargate: Special Edition." It doesn't require flipping!

Never quite makes it - 2.75 out of 5 (5/26/1999)
Stunning visuals can only get you so far. What a movie needs is a well written story, a good plot, and good characters, this movie has none.
The DVD's audio and video is good, but what the hell is up with having to turn the disc over. DVD is better than that!
Bad movie, below average DVD, stay away from this title.
