Take this dare

Very few female performers in adult films have projected the intense sexual presence and complete comfort in her scenes as did Barbara Dare. If you're looking for an innocent waif who seems uncomfortable or exploited to get off on, stay away from Ms. Dare. However, if you're into a beautiful, all-natural woman with a smoldering look in her eyes, take this dare. She has lovely breasts and a lithe, pleasingly muscular body.
This DVD package is very well done. From a nice main menu that features a silhouette logo in the style of Charlie's Angels, to a DVD cover insert card with nude photos on one side and clothed photos on the other, this is a good idea. The Dare-only portion of the program runs just under two hours. A bonus section has one hour and fifteen minutes of scenes from other movies. Most of the additional scenes are of a high quality both visually and erotically. A brief slide show and four trailers round out the content.
The Barbara scenes are all good to great. She attacks some of her partners like she has not had sex in years. The last scene, a g/g pairing, is so hot you can feel the heat between them. If you like Ms. Dare and girl/girl is your thing, you'll love this disc, as most of the scenes are lesbian duos and threesomes. The only things that look dated are some of the hair styles and clothes. A couple of the guys have mullets so severe that they make Billy Ray Cyrus look like Drew Carey.
The only thing I found a bit distracting was the mostly pounding soundtrack. I guess I've seen so much gonzo lately that the natural audio and hearing every little moan and squeak seems more the norm to me. This disc goes almost to the opposite extreme, with music drowning most of the natural audio out. The music is not bad, and I'm not sure if this is just the way the scenes were in their original movies or if the audio was "enhanced" to make up for some limitations of the source material.
If you've never seen Barbara Dare this is a good place to start. One warning though, after seeing her perform you may have to reconsider some of your favorite porn girls and their ability. But this is one curve you'll definitely want to grade on.
