One of the best dramas of all time. - 4 out of 5 (8/5/2003)
"They don't make films like that anymore', how often has that simple comment come up of late? It can not help to come to mind while watching one of the truly great experiences in American film, '12 Angry Men'. This film demonstrates that you do not need special effects, big budgets or a variety of sets to make a great movie. The movie is simplicity personified and yet it provides a vehicle of incredible talent before and behind the camera. The plot can be summarized in a single sentence. Twelve

A Fantastic Character Study - 3.5 out of 5 (6/8/2001)
Henry Fonda leads a terrific ensemble cast that includes E.G Marshall, Martin Balsam, Jack Klugman, Lee J. Cobb, and Jack Warden. All but a few minutes of this drama take place in a jury room where 12 men must decide the fate of a young man accused of killing his father. The case seems to be open and shut with the boy being guilty beyond question, but Fonda's character isn't convinced.
