Disc A:
Enter a world where dark knights battle beneath skies lit by dragon's flame. Travel to a land where evil magicians make pacts with forgotten entities in exchange for forbidden powers. Return to the accursed island, Lodoss. Five years past, six adventurers defeated a conquering army and saved Lodoss in a bloody battle that has since been called The War Of Heroes. Not as good as the OVA, but fine fare for LODOSS fans. - 3.5 out of 5 (11/10/2003)
No, this isn't a sequel to the fabulous OVA series, but rather a remake of the events that occured after the death of Ghim (and the disappearance of Woodchuck). It is also more accurate to the novels that inspired this wonderful series, which is why characters (namely Orson and Shiris) are reintroduced, and why the story may seem slightly different to those used to the OVA. (The booklet included in the set provides excellent answers to such questions, as do various online sites.) The first e

LODOSS (the novel), AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE.... - 5 out of 5 (1/6/2002)
Wao! I can't believe how incredible well done are this series!!! I've been waiting for this a LOT of time, and now that I have them. I have no regrets!
I know that a LOT of fans will kill me, but I don't live by fans, this series are better than the OVA'S, for a LOT of reasons. First the DURATION: I have no complaints with the OVA'S, they did an EXCELLENT job on compelling the WHOLE story in 13 episodes, but let's face it, with this series, 27 episodes, all in the way of story could be t

This is a really good serie, i havenīt seen the whole serie yet, but of what i have seen, its one of the best manga serie i have seen. itīs this and rurouni kenshin that is on the top.Just se it!notjust beacause the animation Has really good quality, a awesome story and not to mention the characters!! ...WOW!
