Dragonriders Of Corn - 3.75 out of 5 (3/21/2007)
I'm not going to claim that writer Christopher Paolini's novel Eragon is a great book. It's too derivative of better work from the minds of Tolkien, Lucas, and Rowling; and Paolini (who was only in his teens when he wrote the book) shows a lack of understanding and depth when writing both his female characters and older adults. That being said, Paolini's book is Shakespeare compared to the steaming pile of dragon deposits that is Eragon, the movie.
