When he loses a highly publicized virtual boxing match to ex-champ Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), reigning heavyweight title holder Mason Dixon (Antonio Tarver) retaliates by challenging the Italian Stallion to a nationally televised, 10-round exhibition bout. Yo Adrian...He Did It! - 4.75 out of 5 (3/19/2007)
It's been 20 years since he last stepped into the ring against Ivan Drago. But more importantly, it's been 5 years since his beloved wife, Adrian, died of ovarian cancer. As the final chapter of the Rocky saga opens, we find the former world champion visiting Adrian's grave on the anniversary of her death. It's become a ritual for Rocky (Sylvester Stallone), as he's become a man trapped in his past, or as his brother-in-law Paulie (Burt Young) puts it, "you're living backwards, Rocko".

Rocky Balboa is everything a Rocky fan could ask for and it makes up for the horrible Rocky V. This is the way Rocky should go out on top.

Rocky Balboa, the most beloved onscreen character and highly anticipated sequel of the the year, is back!
Written and directed by, and starring Sylvester Stallone in the role that made him a movie star, Rocky Balboa, like the title character, triumphs. This film could ended up being the surprise hit of the year.
