Star Wars: Clone Wars - Volume 1 Review - 4 out of 5 (3/23/2005)
Originally developed as 3 minute "micro-episodes" for the Cartoon Network, Star Wars: Clone Wars serves as an animated bridge between Episode II and the soon-to-be-released Episode III, charting the major battles of the Clone Wars. Written and directed by the amazing Genndy Tartakovsky (Samurai Jack) these cartoons, now edited into a 69-minute feature for DVD, are probably the best Star Wars creations since the original trilogy.

Clone Wars Is Fantastic! - 5 out of 5 (8/31/2007)
This series totally awesome! We heard about the Clone Wars in Episode IV in the conversation between Luke and Ben, and in Leia's message, but other than that we didn't really know too much about them. This series tells us. For those of you who've read the Expanded Universe, especially the Dark Lords Of The Sith comics, when Anakin travels to Yavin IV, you'll see a very familiar structure. This is a definite must-have!

Unexpectedly good - 4.25 out of 5 (5/13/2005)
I stopped watching Star Wars after the first two prequels, simply because I realized I'd stopped caring about the characters. I never bought the DVDs, and I wasn't very hopeful for the third prequel. But then a friend lent me his copy of Clone Wars Vol. 1 after he recommended it to me, and within three days I was interested in the Star Wars universe again. This DVD set boasts exceptional action sequences that rival any sequence in the films, shows viewers how badass Jedi kni

Better then Episodes 1 & 2 - 4.5 out of 5 (4/12/2005)
I thought that the story line and the action sequences were simply fantastic. I'd like to see these guys advise on action sequences on the big screen. If I were George, I would feel a little intimidated by their work. Their work is better than Star Wars Episodes 1 & 2. It's definitely more entertaining. If you are a Star Wars fan, then this is a must have. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I'd like to see them continue the series.
