House of Sand and Fog is a House of Fantastic Acting. - 5 out of 5 (4/14/2005)
If you like deep dramas, subtle yet strong acting, this is the movie for you. At first you may think it's a story of supernatural happenings, or at least I did based on the trailer, but it's really an intriguing drama dealing with an ownership of a house, and the pursuit of the American Dream. Jennifer Connelly stars as a deadbeat, guilt-ridden, single woman whose house is put on auction after being delinquent in her payments, and a certain technicality.
