A young woman learns about life after she dies - 4 out of 5 (6/15/2004)
One of the most popular themes for the dark comedy has always been death. From films like Arsenic and Old Lace, the collective fear of death has provided laughs, usually to repress the underlying dread. Didn't know what I was getting... - 4.25 out of 5 (2/11/2005)
I bought this DVD collection not knowing anything about the show. Let me just say now that I've seen the first season, I can't wait for the second season to be out on DVD! This is definitely a must-watch DVD.

Best New Series on Cable IMHO - 5 out of 5 (8/2/2004)
I loved this show on Showtime and got the DVD as soon as possible. The premier episode had me hooked within 20 minutes and now I can see the 1 or two episodes I missed during the 1st season. The actors seem to have great chemistry and Ellen Muth makes a perfect smart a** slacker. I've seen her in several roles and she is always good. Mandy Patankin is also very good as Rube. Sorry Jasmine Guy, I still think of you as spoiled rich girl Whitley from Different World but you do good. Can't wait fo
