A great childrens film made for adults too - 4 out of 5 (9/22/2003)
I actually groaned aloud when I opened up the case for Holes. Putting it into the player to watch didn't come any easier because I am not a big fan of childhood fantasy films. I left that phase somewhere after Willy Wonka and I have never enjoyed any of the Harry Potter books or films.
So I was really surprised when I was hooked on the movie ten minutes into it, and I was amazed an hour and a half later at what a great movie it really was.
