Synopsis
"A masterwork. An extravagant achievement that will be seen again andiagain." -Gene Shalit, NBC TV

Part tragic, part comic, this outrageous look at life in the fast lane is the Academy Award-winning musical about Bob Fosse's excessive life in show business. Played by Roy Scheider, Fosse's alter-ego drives himself over the edge and soon finds he is caught between a recurring fantasy about his death and the reality of a near-death experience. Dazzlingly presented, this electrifying story about the perils of pushing yourself too hard is filled with Fosse's legendary song-and-dance choreography.

Autobiography of Bob Fosse - 3.75 out of 5  (8/25/2003)
The line between genius and madness is often thin, often exceeded. This was the case for the late Bob Fosse, a man of many talents and an even larger collection of vices. Director, choreographer, writer, womanizer, drug addict and alcoholic, this man embraced all that life had without any concern for restraint. Made eight years before his death 'All That Jazz' is a self indulgent man's look back at his life. Unlike many autobiographical works this one show its creator in the best of life. Fosse'   more >>

Worth All That Jazz - 3.75 out of 5  (7/14/2003)
Philanderer, addict, abuser, user and all around self absorbed bastard. These are all terms that have been used in describing the life of Writer/Director Bob Fosse. But those words were only used by some people. The words used by ALL the people were quite different. Brilliant, unique, committed and show stopping were the words use din every review of Fosse's work. Thus it seems fitting that ALL THAT JAZZ is considered to be one of his crowning achievements. In the film, Fosse introduces   more >>
