"A Maniacal Thrill!" -The New York Times
This sexy thriller has been acclaimed as one of the year's best films. Two beautiful women are caught up in a lethally twisted mystery - and ensnared in an equally dangerous web of erotic passion. "There's nothing like this baby anywhere! This sinful pleasure is a fresh triumph for Lynch, and one of the best films of the year. Visionary daring, swooning eroticism and colors that pop like a whore's lip gloss!" says Rolling Stone's Peter Travers. "See it... then see it again!" (Time Out New York)

A dream like thrill ride that must be seen more than once - 4.25 out of 5 (4/24/2002)
David Lynch is one of those moviemakers that you either love or hate. Few reviewers and even fewer members of the general audience are on the fence with his works. Mulholland Drive is his latest opus and has bewildered most that have seen this work. Lynch's works are not the type of film that you can casually view. They require a dedication of your time and attention. Many hold his films in distain because they are unwilling to commit to these requirements. If you are willing to pay attention th

A Drive Into Dreamland From David Lynch - 4 out of 5 (3/25/2002)
If you are looking to get from point A to point B while cruising down Mulholland Drive, you're in for a disappointing trip. However, if you're searching for a wild ride into dreamland where plot isn't as important as mood and feeling, then you've come to the right DVD.
After telling a fairly straightforward (no pun intended) tale in The Straight Story, Lynch delves back into the surreal in Mulholland Drive, a movie whose background is almost as interesting as the final product,

Beautifully directed and intellectually challenging - 3.75 out of 5 (2/9/2004)
Save your time if you cannot commit think or understand the meaning of this film. Unfortunately, it's apparent some have wasted their time because they were unable to understand or didn't have the attention span required for this 147-minute mind-wrestling puzzle.
The first time you watch it, just watch it like any other movie. Yes, you may be frustrated because you will have a lot of unanswered questions. Then watch it again and again and pay attention and answer one question at a time. What

Great Movie not so great DVD - 4 out of 5 (10/10/2002)
I love this movie, but I have to admit I was disappointed at the DVD for a few reasons. One, no chapter selections. Which is a little different then I'm used to. But NO special features. I was unhappy with it. But I do love this movie aside from that. It's a must see.

Get ready for an intense ride - 3.75 out of 5 (9/3/2002)
No one ever said that David Lynch's films were for the lazy or unimaginitive mind. This one takes you on a wild ride of imagery & emotions. One mustn't try to "figure out" the film in its entirety but enjoy each vignette as the story unfolds. True Lynch fans will love this film.
