After narrowing down hundreds of Broadway hopefuls, Zach (Douglas) leads a select group of dancers on the tryout of their lives. OK movie, Pleasant DVD - 3.5 out of 5 (4/22/2003)
A Chorus Line worked well as a broadway musical. It fares pretty well as a movie. My only complaints are the changes made from the transition of the show to the movie. The removal of some songs and the addition of new ones are questionable. This movie will appeal to those who are into theatre as well as those who are into character dramas. Those who aren't may find themselves bored with it. Aside from the negative, the movie does have some nice chorepgraphy, and it is well cast. Thanks to
