Synopsis
…I'll never tell.

Michael Douglas is "tremendous" (Tribune News Services) in this psychological thriller "in the classic Hitchcock tradition" (The New York Observer). When the daughter of a prominent New York psychiatrist (Douglas) is kidnapped, his only hope for her safe return is to pry a 6-digit number from the memory of a troubled teenage girl - and time is running out!

Empire Review
A taut albeit complex suspense drama - 4.75 out of 5  (2/19/2002)
For many years one favorite of the film going public has always been the suspense mystery. For an audience there is a certain thrill in trying to guess where the plot will take us. Of course the undisputed master of this genre was Alfred Hitchcock. He could take a simple plot and hold the audience in his spell. Unfortunately, many modern directors have felt it necessary to add several sub plots to the mix. This is the one fault of the film 'Don't Say a Word'. It starts off with a blast and then   more >>

A great film, a great disc - 4.5 out of 5  (1/28/2002)
DON'T SAY A WORD is one of those well written thrillers that combine several unrelated events into a compelling suspense story. It also benefits from the talent of its cast. Michael Douglas is first rate in the co-lead role as psychiatrist Nathan Conrad. This is the kind of film that he was born to play, and he does it with the same aplomb that he has brought to other such films like FATAL ATTRACTION, and WAR OF THE ROSES. Now, I said co-lead because Brittany Murphy as mental patient E   more >>

Another Must See! - 4.25 out of 5  (7/19/2002)
This is a really good movie, with a twist. Michael Douglas gives a great performance, and the story line is very good. This is one of two great movies that I have seen of late, the other being Domestic Disturbance. Definitely worth seeing.   more >>
