Fantastic movie - 4.75 out of 5 (6/22/2001)
UNBREAKABLE is an uncanny movie. It twists and ties you up into knots. It
delivers a suspenseful story a beat at a time and then it takes you into the
heart of the matter, which leaves you both disappointed and exhilarated at
the same time.
The heart I am speaking of is no secret by now. In fact, this film takes
the opposite approach to the one that M Knight Shyamalan used for the SIXTH
SENSE. Whereas that movie was best presented with a secret ending, this one

Boy was I ever wrong. I finally saw this film just the other day, almost 2 years after the film's inital release. I had read and heard my reviews and opinion of Unbreakable and most were actually consistant. Generally, everything I had heard or read was that this movie was a let down. I have had this DVD almost since its release but I had never watched it. I am very unhappy with myself that I never gave it a chance. I loved this movie. It wasn't The Sixth Sense, but it was okay. The ending threw me off the first time I saw it. The features kinda sucked for me. Why put it on two disks? Why doesn't it have an audio commentary? If nothing else, it could have been on the second disk (trust me, there was enough room for it)...
