The original and still the best version of a classic horror film - 5 out of 5 (11/5/2002)
Back in 1973 a film was released that would change the moviegoer's expectations of how a film should scare them. A simple story of a little girl possessed by evil would forever raise the bar on the horror genre. The Exorcist was this film. On the surface it was a pair of priests Father Karras (Jason Miller) and Father Merrin (Max von Sydow) fighting to drive out a demon from sweet little Reagan (Linda Blair). The themes of good versus evil run far deeper in this tale providing the film with far

Exorcist, The: 25th Anniversary (1973) - 4.625 out of 5 (12/17/1998)
The Movie:
After some delays Warner Bros. has finally released The Exorcist: Special Edition. The movie, about a little girl who has become possessed and a priests struggle to save her, needs no introduction. It has been a classic since the day it was released 25 years ago and is terrifying to this day.

"Be Careful...It Will Mix Lies With The Truth" - 4.5 out of 5 (4/16/2001)

Still to this day has no other film than The Exorcist been able to simply shock audiences with an unrelenting gale-force of social, political and psychological satire. Blatty's brilliant novel and screenplay are so bold as to reveal that even the strongest of beliefs, the strongest of faiths, and us as human beings

If you own a DVD Player, this is a must! - 5 out of 5 (10/8/2000)
No matter what anybody says, this is the most shocking film of all time. You hear people say there are not scared, but that just means they AVOIDED it. They didn't think about it. They didn't understand it. A young girl, tortured by a demon, and made to do evil and disturbing things. This is The Exorcist.
This 25th Anniversary Edition of the hit horror/drama film is the best version ever released to the public. With over an hour of extras, plus the orginal film with seperate commentaries from
