Okay????? - 2.5 out of 5 (1/15/2001)
At the heart of my review of "Battlefield Earth" is an old adage that my mother taught me well. That is, if you cannot say anything nice about something, then say nothing at all!
So how do I approach talking about the worst film of the year 2000?

Unless of course you count people that don't like sci-fi, can't stand Travolta or expected a Scientology movie. Why they would have watched it is beyond me (and no I didn't reccomend it to them).
The movie definitely had it's failures:
1.) The acting wasn't

I thought it was a classic sci-fi story, and would love to see a major big-budget re-make in 10 or 20 years. It's pure sci-fi, with enough social commentary to make you smile.
It reminds me of another favorite of mine - Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. Both in plot and production. Conquest suffered on budget, but made the most with sets a
