Customer Review Censored version - 2.25 out of 5  (4/12/2004) Warning: this review may spoil the film for those who haven't seen it. I was greatly impressed by this movie's U.S. theatrical release during my teenage years. It still has some charm, but it seems a pointless bit of fluff compared with the uncensored film I saw in the theatre. The theatrical version I saw showed (and lingered on) the products of conception (in the sink) that the title character ponders. Alfie Elkins is a God, Michael Caine is too a God. This film has more style, wit, and charm than any other film around.
