Think You're Alone? Think Again.
After years of experimentation, Dr. Sebastian Caine, a brilliant but arrogant and egotistical scientist working for the Defense Department, has successfully transformed mammals to an invisible state and brought them back to their original physical form. Determined to achieve the ultimate breakthrough, Caine instructs his team to move on to Phase III: human experimentation. Using himself as the first subject, the invisible Caine finds himself free to do the unthinkable. But Caine's experiment takes an unexpected turn when his team can't bring him back. As the days pass, he grows more and more out of control, doomed to a future without flesh as the Hollow Man.
Kevin Bacon, Elisabeth Shue and Josh Brolin star in this intense thriller filled with extreme suspense, terrifying twists and incredible special effects.

Now you see him, now you wish you hadn't! - 4.5 out of 5 (12/22/2000)
Paul Verhoeven has mastered the art of making the thinking man's horror film. "Hollow Man" is a perfect example of that. The movie is designed to be physically terrifying, but it also has an edge of psychological horror. It makes you think about how you would react if you had been granted the same powers as Sebastian Caine.

A nice movie with unbelievable special FX - 4.25 out of 5 (1/22/2002)
The movie is quite ordinary but the special FX are phenomenal. Also, Elizabeth Shue and Kim Dickens are hot and have the very pleasant tendency to show skin (thank you, Paul!).
Rhona Mitra plays a very little role in doing what she is best at: the tease. Boy, the girl is hot, but she is also the prototype of tease, and in the end she probably gets what she deserves.

Why people say this movie is so bad? I mean because it isn't the remake of the movie everyone was expecting? So what? What does THE MUMMY has anything to do with the original?; and it even made a sequel...
The movie isn't half the bad people says. I've shown this movie to a lot of persons, and they all liked it.
So the movie began as a suspense one and ends like a thriller, and the problema is?
As I assume you had the idea; I enjoyed the movie.
