Lovely Liz (Nadia Townsend) makes a living by twisting the truth but when her family grows tired of her lies, she finds herself out on the street without a penny. Deciding to chuck it all, Liz attempts suicide... only to be rescued by handsome tow truck driver Aiden (Bernard Curry).
Rather than take her to a hospital, Liz savior adbucts her to his rural farmhouse, convinced she's the wife who left him years earlier. Kept on a leash a guarded by attack dogs, Liz makes the choice to humor Aiden's delusion, relying on her skills as a habitual liar to talk her way out of his hostage situation...but will she be double crossed by her own broken heart?
In the tradition of Misery and Black Snake Moan comes this captivating black comedy about the ties that bind.

Unreal ... in a good way - 3.25 out of 5 (9/2/2008)
Saw this at the Australian International Film Festival in Melbourne, where it went on to win BEST FILM. Very impressed with the acting. This is not a typical Australian film. It does not try to be dreary and realist. In fact it has a sense of other-worldliness. The dialogue is witty. The tone shifts easily between situational comedy, dark-as-hell uncomfortable laughs, and genuinely moving moments. I had no idea where the story was going and I enjoyed every minute of the ride.
