Empire Review Taking a bite out of the business! - 5 out of 5  (7/5/2000) If you ask any people what DVD's they want to come out and soon, "Jaws" ends up on the list somewhere around number five. (The Star Wars films are the first four!) Still this release marks something of a milestone in DVD history because it is the first significant release from Director Steven Spielberg. This is the film ladies and gentlemen, which proves DVD has come of age! It is a big hit at the box office in 1975 and I am glad I have bought this movie on the excellent DVD, since I own a DVD player. A must own.   more >> Customer Review Jaws -- classic - 3.75 out of 5  (4/12/2002) This picture is one that many people have grown up with and loved, and this disc does not disappoint. The transfer and sound are exceptional and although the documentary has been edited in half from an original version available on laserdisc (why I have no idea; 1941's documentary was left intact for disc) it compliments the film like the fine wine served up by Hooper shortly before cutting open a shark !   more >> Customer Review Great FIlm Editing - 4.5 out of 5  (4/4/2002) This movie has some of the best film editing I've seen.
