A World Without A Superman... - 4.5 out of 5 (9/14/2007)
In many ways, Superman: Doomsday represents the kind of movie fans should have gotten when Superman Returns hit the big screen last year. It's fast, it's loaded with action, and it has the kind of humanity and character development that Bryan Singer's version seemed to be so sadly lacking. Oh, and the Superman in Superman: Doomsday isn't wimpy like the Brandon Routh version...that helps a lot, too!

Comic writers needed to write the script - 3.25 out of 5 (9/24/2007)
You know, I am a huge Superman fan. I spent the last few years hoping for a well made DOOMSDAY film...I am still waiting. If you want a bubble gum version which gets some of the ideas then this is for you. Yet if you are looking for canon and to see your comic come to life, then this isn't for you. I did love the special features... they are full of wonderful memories of how the comic was. But the movie forgot tons of missing characters which perished durning the DOOMSDAY invasion!
