Flash! Ah-Ahhh! - 3.25 out of 5 (8/8/2007)
I can't think of many non-musical movies whose popularity (or in this case, cult status) depend almost primarily upon the soundtrack, but in the case of Flash Gordon, truer words cannot be spoken. Take away the Queen music, and all you have left is a poorly acted and very campy film.
But there's something about that theme song with its thumping intro and its cries of "Flash! Ah-Ahhh!" that really gets the adrenaline pumping. By the time the opening credits are over, you may f

This DVD is possibly better than the theatrical version - 4 out of 5 (8/6/2007)
After seeing the film in a theatre, I can reccommned this for being true to the big screen format. The sound was reproduced accurately, the color was maintained, and the visual effects are seemingly enhanced. A good DVD to own.
