Empire Review Not so in 3d - 3.25 out of 5  (12/4/2000) "Friday the 13th Part 3" was the infamous 3D horror film. It was a fairly typical entry into the series but in the theaters it had the added attraction of being three dimensional. Sadly, the disc does not offer the same added attraction. The film still stands up as one of the better entries in the series. This was a landmark film as it was the first time that Jason donned his infamous hockey mask. It also ends with a clever twist on the ending of the original film as Jason's mother somehow   more >> Customer Review Best Friday The 13th - 4.25 out of 5  (2/3/2004) This is the best of the series and was hardly censored by MPAA. The best kill is were Andy is doing a handstand and Jason cuts him right in half.   more >> Customer Review Part 3 - 3.25 out of 5  (8/7/2003) This sequel is actually slightly better then part 2 if you ask me. Jason is a little tougher here and he finally gets his hockey mask. He also is good at being scary in this movie because he's still a believable character... while in later films he becomes ridiculously strong. There are some funny characters in this movie to boot.   more >> Customer Review A NEW DIMENSION IN TERROR IS A MUST HAVE ON DVD !!!!!!!! - 3.5 out of 5  (11/10/2002) I owned this title on VHS video for a number of years, had the opportunity to catch this title on the big screen in 3-D and now, I am glad to be the proud owner of FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 3 on DVD. Despite the fact that this title was NOT presented in 3-D for financial and technological reasons, I was quite impressed of this title on DVD. We all know what the story is about, or lack thereof.
