She's to die for! - 3.5 out of 5 (2/12/2001)
If you are one of the few million people that are interested in the ongoing
saga of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise, then you might want to go back and
look at some of their best work. I had a conversation with a friend the
other night that claimed that she would be lost without him. I disagreed and
said that she would be just fine. To prove my point, I mentioned two movies
that I had seen recently. "Malice" is the first and "To Die For" is the
second. The odd thing is that they aren't ranked

To Die For (1995) - 3.3125 out of 5 (11/12/1998)
The Movie:
She wants to be on TV but her husband doesn't share her feelings on the matter. So what's a girl to do? Kill him of course.
To Die For is a strangely entertaining movie starring, Nicole Kidman in the lead role. Kidman won a Golden Globe for her performance in this film and it really shows. The Arrival of Nicole - 4.25 out of 5 (5/18/2002)
Some of us were very familiar with the high standard work of Nicole Kidman in Australia, two brilliant TV mini series Vietnam and Bangkok Hilton, and the movie Dead Calm with Sam Neill told us she was a talent to watch. Then came America and we despaired at the terribly shallow
Cruise schmooze movies she was appearing in. The along came someone of imagination/inspiration and Kidman was caste in To Die For. An absorbing tale of a woman who is obsessed with becoming a television star and is prepa

Pam Smart immortalized - 4.5 out of 5 (11/29/1998)
Being a New Englander, the fictionalized story of New Hampshire
teacher turned murderer Pam Smart has a certain lure to me. I
remember the story as it unfolded in the news and the courts.
Thankfully, this film uses that as a framework and creates a much
more interesting story with a FAR more attractive leading lady.
I'll start by saying that this is Nicole Kidman's finest role.
She approaches this character with the perfect blend of detest for
her husband and lust for her career. You'
