A grand adventure! - 4.25 out of 5 (5/2/2000)
Heard any good jokes lately?
Now that we have that out of the way, we can seriously address the review of "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure."
I'm finding it hard to believe I just used those five words in the same sentence.
Surely you all remember Pee-Wee Herman. Paul Reubens created the character for the comedy group the Groundlings in the mid-80's. His co-creator was the late Phil Hartman. The two then turned the character into a Saturday morning cartoon show and made a movie that launched

Pee Wee Herman's Adventure is a move to watch - 4 out of 5 (2/4/2003)
Pee wee Herman's adventure is a movie I loved as a kid from watching Pee Herman's Playhouse. Yeah Pee Wee, is a little bit on the crazy side in the movie and some of his jokes are lame. But they are funny and creative as well. When watching this movie, you will say all this for a bike. This bike is pretty cool and the movie shows it abributes at the end which is pretty neat.

You really couldn't ask for much more. - 4.5 out of 5 (8/25/2000)
I'm rarely totally satisfied with a DVD as a whole package, but Warner really got this one right.
I love this film (one of Burton's best) and it's great to finally have a smooth, clean, colorful anamorphic transfer of this movie. It sounds great too!
Sometimes, discs can go overboard with features, but this has just the right balance of what a fan would want.
This movie has a wonderfully unique look, sound and comedic tone.
It's well worth a look.
