First there was "Dennis the Menace", then "George of the Jungle", then "Mr. Magoo" and now this, "Dudley Do-Right" Paradoxily, I feel that the original source for this movie was the best of the four mentioned, but made the worst film. Perhaps it was because of the J. Ward cartoon's serial style, because this movie feels like it runs about 85 minutes too long. I took my little brother, with not a whole lot of anticipation. Surprisingly, I was won over by that film's spirit, its original sense of humor, and the charm of its lead, Brendan Fraser. Now, Fraser is the star of another film based on a Jay Ward cartoon. I should have know that this would be horrible after I read this. This movie is pure torture to watch. I can vaguely remember back when Brandon Fraser used to actually act instead of this horrible comedy crap. I keep thinking that they will get better but they actually get worse.   more >>
