Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It's funito beia vampire.
Sam and his older brother Michael are all-American teen with all-American interests. But after they move with their mother to peaceful Santa Carla, California, things mysteriously begin to change. Michael's not himself lately. And Mom's not going to like what he's turning into.
The Lost Boys reshapes vampire tradition, deftly mixing heart-pounding terror, rib-tickling laughs and a body-gyrating rock soundtrack.

A fun vampire movie - 4.25 out of 5 (6/6/1999)
Awwwww, the good old 80's. This film really brings me back to when I was a kid. It's fun yet scary at the same time. Not many movies these days can pull that off. A nice good time.
This DVD is nothing special, it has the usual features. The video quality stands out as being good. Also, the new 5.1 soundtrack is nice.
Reccomended, this is a good movie.

A good movie but nothing to really show off the power of DVD - 3.5 out of 5 (2/3/1999)
I remember watching The Lost Boys when it first came out in 1987 and I was pretty impressed at the time. It had good actors with a hip vampire plot and pretty good makeup effects. As I watch it now on DVD, I realize that it wasn't as good of a movie as I'd remembered it to have been. I think that it just happened to be a vampire flick to fill the void at that time. As I look at the plot now, with the young teenagers being the vampire killers, I realize just how comical it is. It is still a

My favorite vampire movie ever ! - 4.5 out of 5 (7/5/1998)
This is one movie you will not get tired of watching over and over again. Great DD 5.1 sound delivers the necessary crunch for a very entertaining vampire thriller. Two young guys and their mother move to Santa Carla (murder capital of the world). Michael (Jason Patrick) unknowingly joins the vampire gang so his brother hires two vampire killers (Corey Feldman) to kill the head vampire. Lots of action and humor, and great sound.A DVD I highly recommend.
