A jailbreak accidentally sets fast-talking ticket hustler Franklin Hatchet on the run for murder. Now the whole city is on his tail and only reporter James Russell can clear his name. The hell with the money, I'll take Chris - 4 out of 5 (7/30/2001)
After I watched MONEY TALKS the first time, I was swept away with a sense of
been there done that. It was an old plot that was done to death in 48 HOURS
and other such comedies of the past. I even went so far as to remark that
Christ Tucker is no Eddie Murphy.
Now, after seeing the movie for the second time, I have to stand by that
statement. In fact I would like to add that Christ Tucker is better than
Eddie Murphy because I saw the old movie in a new light after watching it

Very Funny! Chris Tucker is hilarious! - 4.25 out of 5 (12/29/1999)
I don't possibly see how someone can watch this film and say that it isn't funny. Either they have a poor sense of humor or just don't get it. The movie is all about Chris Tucker and his same personality from the movie Friday. The movie isn't quite as good as Friday but I don't know many that are.
The DVD is above average for comedies. The Picture is perfectly clear and the sound is above average as well. The Extras could have used a little more but I didn't expect that much from a comed
