Empire Review It's back - 4.25 out of 5  (8/15/2001) Here's a little update on "Re-Animator." Elite has the rights back to the title and they plan to keep producing it for the foreseeable future. There were rumors that Anchor Bay had the rights but as of now, that doesn't seem the case. You can order the title and if it says out of stock, just know that this is a temporary thing. It's a great movie and the features are superb, trailers, 2 fabulous audio commentarys and lots of deleted scenes. It's fully un-cut, so if you're a fan what more could you want? Jeffrey Combs gives a wonderfully humorous and twisted performance of the mordern day mad scientist Herbert West with a morbid desire to bring the dead back to life under the most bizarre circumstances.
