If you can't trust your partner.. Who can you trust?
A rookie cop gets assigned to a tough, sexy female partner, a veteran officer legendary for her ruthless, but effective style. The pair begins a very passionate affair while on their toughest case - the hunt for a serial killer. When the rookie receives mysterious evidence, he starts to conclude that his own partner and lover is the prime suspect for the grisly murders.

An okay police thriller! - 3 out of 5 (3/14/2000)
My wife and I just finished watching "Black & White." Halfway through the film, I looked at her and asked "Is this good?" She just shrugged and we went back to watching it.
That pretty much sums up my entire opinion of the film. It's a decent film with a decent plot and decent acting but nothing really makes it stand out.

Very good thriller with surprise ending - 4.25 out of 5 (12/25/1999)
I liked this movie very much. It is surperbly
rendered on this DVD that also features a running
commentary by writer/director Yuri Zeltser. I
strongly recommend to listen to the commentary
since it offers some quite interesting insights.
The movie is a very classy noir cop thriller with
some intersting plot twists and a surprising end.
Regrettably Yuri Zeltser chose to depart from his
own original script when shooting the film and
eliminated a plot twist he considered "too risky".
