Imagine…You're Gone andiSomeone Else isiLiving Inside Your Body.
Don't sleep. Don't ever sleep. That's when it happens. That's when tentacles leave the alien pod and enter your ears and nostrils. Soon you're not you anymore. You've been taken over, a victim of Body Snatchers.
A science-fiction classic gets an eerie, modern update in this spellbinder inspired by 1956's Invasion of the Body Snatchers and from the producer of the 1978 remake. Advances in screen special effects now enable director Abel Ferrar and his crew of wizards to depict the actual birthing of a pod - and its devastating effect on the human host.
Who says there's no rest for the wicked? As stars Farielle Anwar, Terry Kinney, Forest Whitaker and Meg Tilly discover, no one rests when the only way to sleep is to keep one eye open. And one foot out the door.

Great Atmospheric Horror/Sci-Fi Movie - 4.25 out of 5 (7/22/2003)
This is a great atmospheric horror/sci-fi movie. The plot involves body snatching near a military base. A refreshing take on the body snatching theme. It delivers some really spooky scenes and the ending is shocking in a psychological way. Usually remakes are derivative to the original, but this one is above average. This is a taut, suspenseful thriller that will remain in your thoughts long after the movie is over. I've read the book and like the idea of aliens taking over your body, masq

Too bad... - 2.25 out of 5 (4/10/2001)
While Body Snatchers does offer a handful of genuinely scary moments, it is a good premise very poorly realized.
