The stunning answer to a teenager's prayers also finds time to tutor her wide-eyed students on the pleasures and pitfalls of adolescence, with lessons on surviving obnoxious older brothers, dealing with school bullies and understanding well-meaning parents. This sci-fi fable is enchanced by eye-popping effects and outlandish creatures supplied by the team who brought E.T. to the screen. Great movie, but this movie.!   more >> Customer Review MAN, am I glad to see that this movie has mede it to DVD! - 2.5 out of 5  (8/28/2000) I've said it before and I'll say it again. The 80s were magical. Maybe it was the music that did it? Maybe it was the fashion, the hairstyles? Unfortunately, I never actively took part of the 80s magic 'cause i was just a little kid playing with Transformers action figures back then.
