Excellent comedy - 4.25 out of 5 (5/21/2003)
These days, Hollywood is all abuzz about Alexander Payne and his new
brilliant comedy ABOUT SCHMIDT, but it doesn't seem so long ago that they
were all abuzz about his other film ELECTION which remains an extremely
smart and well thought out comedy.
Of course, there are also those that are abuzz about JURASSIC PARK 3, which
Payne also wrote. A film, which I found incredibly funny as well.
Imagine... a movie about dinosaurs!

Gets My Vote For one of 99s Best Comedies......... - 4 out of 5 (1/23/2000)
In the midst of all the "teeny-bopper" film craze earlier this year, out came a little film called "Election". It was the first teen-oriented film that I actually went to see in the theater, mostly because of the rave reviews it was getting. I'm glad I took the time to see it, because "Election" is not only the best of the "teen-film" craze, but also one of the best films of the year.
